I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become. - C. G. Jung
People seek psychotherapy for a wide range of reasons, which metaphorically could be equated to having lost sight of the cairns in your life journey:
You may feel stuck in your life as if you'd come to a dead-end. You may feel as if you have arrived at a crossroad in your life and experience anxiety about which way to go from here. Maybe you are suffering from low self-confidence, depression, overwhelming stress or illness. Perhaps you are experiencing difficulties in a time of loss or bereavement. You may be going through difficulties in your relationship, or are seeking a relationship. It could be that you are seeking support in dealing with an eating disorder. Perhaps you would like to find direction and meaning in your life. You would like to reconnect with your creativity and natural curiosity.
All question, issues or problems can be explored in the therapeutic setting and because no two individuals are the same, I will meet you where you are and I offer an empathetic space in which you feel safe to talk about any issue that arises. By doing so, we attempt to re-discover or re-build the cairns that may have become invisible or untrustworthy and find our individual path.
